📍 Workshop Details:
What: A free, in-person workshop focused on developing Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS or Drone) curriculum for secondary education.
When:
Monday, June 22 – Wednesday, June 24, 2026
⏰ 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM daily (Lunch provided from 12:00 – 1:00 PM)
Where:
Kopchick Hall, 421 N Walk, Indiana, PA 15705
Who: Public, Private, or Charter School teachers and administrators in k-12 are eligible for sign-up.
🎓 Why Attend?
Free to Attend: There is no cost for educators to participate.
Curriculum Development: Learn how to integrate drone technology into secondary education through custom-built curriculum tools.
Expert-Led Instruction: Led by Dr. John Benhart, IUP Professor and Aerium board member.
Drone Giveaway: Each participating educator will receive a free drone to take back to their school (up to 2 drones per physical academic building).
