📍 Workshop Details:
What: A free, in-person workshop focused on developing Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS or Drone) curriculum for secondary education.
When:
Tuesday, August 11th – Thursday, August 13th, 2026
⏰ 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM daily (Lunch provided from 12:00 – 1:00 PM)
Where:
Hosanna House – Sherwood Event Center and Center for Aviation Technology and Training, 400 Sherwood Rd, Wilkinsburg, PA 15221
Who: Public, Private, or Charter School teachers and administrators in k-12 are eligible for sign-up.
🎓 Why Attend?
Free to Attend: There is no cost for educators to participate.
Curriculum Development: Learn how to integrate drone technology into secondary education through custom-built curriculum tools.
Expert-Led Instruction: Led by James Tigner, Director of Aviation for the Hosanna House Center for Aviation Technology and Training
Drone Giveaway: Each participating educator will receive a free drone to take back to their school (up to 2 drones per physical academic building).
