Aviation Institute of Maintenance is committed to the education and personal enrichment of each student interested in an aviation maintenance or a trade technician profession. They offer programs in aviation, maintenance, welding, and technician fields, whether it be for aircraft maintenance; maintenance technician, combination welding, industrial manufacturing, or HVAC. 

The Community College of Allegheny County offers programs in Aviation Management, Aviation Technology, and Private Piloting. Each of the programs trains you to meet the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements. The private pilot certificate is designed for the student wishing to obtain a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Private Pilot Single-Engine Land License with an Instrument rating.

The Community College of Beaver County offers it's James M. Johnson School of Aviation, the school includes programs in Advanced Piloting, Aerospace Management, Air Traffic Control, and Professional Pilot. All CCBC Aviation program guidance and policies are contained in James M. Johnson School of Aviation Sciences guidelines.

Earn a B.S. in Aviation Business Administration and an Associates Degree from CCBC with concentrations in professional piloting, air traffic control, or aerospace management. Geneva’s Aviation Business Administration program is nationally accredited by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)

The Lehigh Carbon Community College offers two aviation programs including Aviation Science A.A.S (AVS) and Professional Pilot A.A.S (AVP). Students can choose from two Aviation programs that prepare you to work as a commercial pilot, certified flight instructor or in an aviation-related field. All aviation courses are taught at Lehigh Valley International Airport.

Marywood University offers an Aviation Management (Pilot/Flight Operations)Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in it's School of Business and Global Innovation. Pilot ground instruction is provided on-campus, while flight operations are arranged through an exclusive contract with Wyoming Valley Airport (KWBW), approximately a half hour from Marywood's campus.

The Pennsylvania College of Technology offers three different Aviation related programs in it's university including Aviation Maintenance Technology (Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.)), Aviation Technology (Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S.)), and Aviation Maintenance Technician (Certificate). The colleges hands-on approach to education, small class sizes, and expert faculty make learning engaging. You’ll be actively immersed in your education, energized, and prepared to dive into a high-demand career in this growing industry.

Penn State University offers a program dedicated to Aerospace Engineering, B.S. This major emphasizes the analysis, design, and operation of aircraft and spacecraft. Students learn the theories and practices in the fundamental subjects of aeronautics, astronautics, aerodynamics and fluid dynamics, aerospace materials and structures, dynamics and automatic control, aircraft stability and control and/or orbital and attitude dynamics and control, air-breathing and rocket propulsion, aircraft systems design and /or spacecraft systems design.

The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics offers two programs in the field of aviation including the Aviation Maintenance Technology Program and a Aviation Electronics Technology Program. As a school for aviation maintenance, Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) has provided the hands-on skills you need to be successful as an aviation technician since 1929. Graduates have pursued opportunities in aviation maintenance, electronics, and other related fields.

Saint Francis University offers a Pilot License Training Program as well as a certificate program in Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT). SFU is dedicated to developing innovative, high-demand programs that meet the workforce needs in aviation and related industries.
